Research Assistant of pelagikos Pvt ltd to design, plan, coordinate and
implement actions (activities) with the aim of
(1) increasing the coverage of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) and
(2) improving the management of fishery and marine resources in
existing MPAs in Mannar District of Sri Lanka.
The project’s results (deliverables) will include more
effective management of existing and new marine protected areas in Mannar District; the declaration of a new district fishery management area (FMA) and one new marine sanctuary in Mannar District of Sri Lanka.
