Activities
My research focuses on the distribution of trace metals in the ocean, with more focus on iron and manganese as they are essential in the functioning of the biological carbon pump. This research focuses on distribution patterns, sources, sinks and as well as physical mechanisms that drive trace metal distribution. One of the study areas of this study is one of the Prince Edwards Islands, known as Gough Island and I will look at the effect of the land on the distribution of these trace metals.
