Creating and maintaining OBIS training resources, such as the OBIS Manual, OBIS/OTGA training course(s), and a series of “How-To” videos on data formatting and controlled vocabulary. Served as the interim chair of the OBIS Vocabulary team until 2025, leading development of community guidelines on controlled vocabulary use, and bridged expertise between biologists and vocabulary specialists.

Filling a training + data management role within the Horizon Europe project, BioEcoOcean. Work Package 5 lead to develop training resources for a Blueprint for Integrated Ocean Science. Developing tools, guidelines, and practices to support effective management and publishing of biological EOV data and metadata, including development of a metadata web application.
