Activities
The Iranian National Center for Oceanography is a research and educational center which was established under the auspices of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.
Iranian National Center for Oceanography (INCO) has been promoted to Iranian National Institute for Oceanography (INIO).
June 2010, Regarding our recent developments, increasing the number of our scientific members, increase of our research-scientific productions, establishment of 3 research stations in Chabahar (the Gulf of Oman and Indian Ocean), Noshahr (the Caspian Sea) and Boushehr (the Persian Gulf), INCO has been promoted to an institute which is the highest rank in ranking the research institutions by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Islamic Republic of Iran.
