At the thirtieth session of the ICG/PTWS, it was decided to continue the Regional Working Group on Tsunami Warning and Mitigation System in the South China Sea Region (ICG/PTWS-WG/SCS). The eleventh meeting of the South China Sea Regional Working Group in 2023 elected Ms Suci Anugrah of Indonesia as Chair of WG-SCS and Ms Ching-chi Lam of China as Vice Chair of WG-SCS in the intersessional period of ICG/PTWS.
Noting that the Twelfth Meeting of the ICG/PTWS WG-SCS decided to conduct its following Thirteenth Meeting online, the Chair and Vice-Chair in agreement with the Secretariat have decided to host the ICG/PTWS/WG-SCS-XIII online at 0630-0900 UTC on 18-19 November 2025.
