In my four years of Bachelor degree and one year of Master degree programme in the Statistics subject at Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh, I gather lots of knowledge about statistical analysis, database management, data analysis, programming and GIS by participating field work and laboratory activity as well as theoretical lecture.  

In my five years of experience in the field of oceanography in Bangladesh, I was attached with the research based consulting firm and done different types of statistical and environmental project and research activity. After that I become the part of Oceanographic Data Centre of Bangladesh Oceanographic Research Institute (BORI) which is a newly established institute for the oceanography research under Bangladesh government. I have done at-sea survey to collect samples and do analysis of the collected data.  But I understand that I need to get more experience under the supervision of international body about the ocean database management and environmental issue of ocean. This internship will be very helpful for me to understand the application of statistical analysis, ocean database management and environmental analysis.

I would like to get such level of experience in international level to develop my career as a data scientist, statistical and GIS based analysis of data and exploration in the Bay of Bengal region. The training program will help me to reach such level as if the authority depends on my knowledge properly on the development of ocean policy and ocean data science in Bangladesh.
