IOC, in cooperation with the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission (JRC) in Ispra, Italy, organises this workshop to bring together the NEAM science and civil protection management communities with experts of Tsunami Warning centres from the Pacific, Indian Ocean and Caribbean regions. Since the NEAM region is the last to conduct a tsunami communication test this workshop will allow for sharing experiences with other regional tsunami warning systems.
