IOC Assembly-31: Thematic Webinars

In the lead up to the 31st Session of the IOC Assembly, the IOC Secretariat organized a series of thematic webinars to update Member States on progress achieved since 2019 across its programmes and projects.

Held between 31 May and 11 June, these webinars gave IOC Member States, Observers and the larger ocean science and management community an opportunity to gather detailed information on IOC's programmatic activities first-hand from members of the IOC Secretariat and external speakers.

Registration for the Assembly: The registration platform for the Assembly is now open at https://ioc-registration.civi-go.net/. It is particularly important that IOC Members States and partner organizations first notify the Secretariat of the complete list of their delegation with names of Head of delegation, alternate, representatives, advisers for the session by order of precedence. The access link to the Zoom meetings corresponding to the Assembly timetable will be communicated in due course. The Secretariat should also be informed by a specific nomination note about the identity of the delegate having the right to vote on behalf of the IOC Member State delegation on 21 June in presentia at UNESCO HQ. The nomination note should be uploaded when the designated delegate registers.
