The IOC Twenty-third Assembly decided, by Resolution XXIII-12, to create the Indian Ocean Tsunami Warning and Mitigation System (IOTWS) and to establish an Intergovernmental Coordination Group for IOTWS (ICG/IOTWS). In this connection, the Government of Indonesia will be hosting the 9th Session of the ICG/IOTWS in Jakarta, Indonesia, 27-30 November 2012. General information about the meeting arrangements is available in the information note provided in the documentation section. A hotel reservation form is also provided and this should be completed and returned to the local organizer prior to 25th October to secure accommodation.
